i took the dc there for something to eat this afternoon.i go about once a week, and never usually have any problems, but today there were 2 members of staff from another part of the store having a drink in there, and they were talking to the cafe staff and gesturing towards the mess my lo's(ages 2.3 and 13months)had made.when i got up and left(having picked up all the mess i could from the floor,as well as putting all the rubbish in the bin, scraping plates and piling them neatly on the tray),there were still quite a few crumbs etc on the floor and table, and the cafe manager and these 2 other women were pointing and shaking their heads at it.(i was standing outside the toilets and they could see me).

wtf am i meant to do?if they provided a dustpan and brush/cloth i would have cleaned it up properly.if they had a problem then why not say something insted of slagging me off behind my back?there are no signs up saying clean up after yourself, and most other people just leave their rubbish and plates all over the table.

waffletrees · 07/04/2008 20:15

I would go back next week and make twice as much mess and clear nothing up. Then you will really give them something to moan about.

Divastrop · 07/04/2008 21:35

well, exactly.its asda cafe ffs not the ritz.i dont like complaining in cafes etc though in case they gob in the food,so maybe next time i will leave more mess and give them something to moan about.
