When people allude to something but then become enraged when you ask about it, here is a totally made up example:

Poster: I totally disagree that family matter more than friends, my upbringing was the seventh circle of hell and if I never have to see any of them again it’ll be too soon, evil bastards.
OP: Gosh; what happened?
Poster: How dare you ask me that, I don’t need to justify myself to you

That kind of thing..

Yes. I know some OPs are under a lot of mental stress, otherwise they wouldnt be starting a thread in the first place, but some do respond in a very aggressive way when people, wanting to be helpful, ask for more detail. It's so counter productive because it puts people's backs up and they don't get the helpful responses they might other wise have had.

I just feel like if you allude to something you shouldn’t be surprised when people ask what happened. Nobody’s forced you to share it.
