For want of a napkin…

…it’s a piece of kitchen roll, not a tissue, right?

I do buy napkins occasionally for Christmas or birthday parties, I admire people who use cloth ones at home, but for normal meals I would always reach for the kitchen roll if one were needed. DH goes for tissues which I think is mental. He’s convinced most people think like him.

So who is BU?

Ah he's like my husband. He uses kitchen roll to blow his blooming nose all the time. Drives me mad

Totally kitchen roll as a napkin

I generally use a tea towel or cloth, then put it in the wash if needs be

I would just grab whichever was nearest.

A teatowel or cloth? No
You cab use kitchen roll as a napkin a towel or cloth, you can't use a towel as a napkin.

I will, where I need something quickly, grab whatever is in reach and I can tell you tissues make awful napkins and kitchen roll is a terrible hanky!
But that's obvious from how thick they are.
Napkins - paper or cloth and kitchen roll are several times thicker than tissues or hankies

I have paper ones specifically for this reason! Leaves no ambiguity. The cloth ones come out for visitors 😂

My DH was a kitchen roll user too 🙄 doesn't he know how expensive blitz is! Especially when he uses half a ream!

I'm old fashioned and always use a material napkin!
