to want to have a hotel breakfast perhaps with coworking

Very frivolous, I know.

I have the morning off of work tomorrow slightly unexpectedly. I would love to go for a hotel buffet breakfast (but not too pricey, doesn't need to be super luxury, 50 cups of coffee, some fresh fruit and any kind of bread / bakery product will suit me down to the ground). I live in a big city so loads of hotels nearby.

A colleague told me that she often works for the morning from her local Ibis hotel where she can have the breakfast as part of a coworking deal. I know the hotel as have had meetings there, it's really nice but bloody ages away in a suburb. If I could find this sort of thing, then I'd feel less guilty/decadent and could also get some much needed work done. I phoned my nearest Ibis but their breakfast is just for staying guests.

I'm now looking on hotel websites but not getting any clear info. although some make vague references to coworking. None specifies whether you can turn up and buy breakfast. (I'm talking about chains not family run or small places which presumably just have enough space and food for their guests.)

Any ideas, please?

There was a premier Inn next door to my old office and we used to go there for team breakfast once a month, you could just pay for breakfast

Not helpful I know but my local IBIS has literally just started selling buffet breakfasts to non residents. Maybe because there's a lot of builders in the area and the cafe is quite far away.

Do you have any other branches nearby?

Thank you both yes loads of Ibis round here and Novotel (I think same parent company) so will do a crawl in search of a buffet, if necessary. (Well, not necessary, desired.)

Premier Inns do this. Set price for either full English buffet or slightly cheaper continental breakfast. It's buffet style so you can relax and pick away.

There are no Premier Inns here, probably for the best as their breakfasts might well be DD's favourite food. And Marmite tastes even better from the heart-shaped sachets!
