To worry this might fall off in the night?

Curtain bracket coming off the wall at both sides. I can’t tell if it’s been made worse today or if it’s been like that a while, can’t remember the last time I really paid it much attention.

Anyway, it’s quite close to the bed, and I’m worried it could fall on him in the night? Is there a chance it could or will the bottom screw prevent it from going anywhere?

It looks as though at both sides the top screw is loose and the bottom screw is still in the wall.

I will try and add a pic in the comments.

The top plug looks quite a way out the wall putting pressure on the lower one.

I’d leave it until tomorrow but if it’s going to play on your mind you could unclip the rail and slide the curtains off, if they are eyelet curtains then hang the end ring of each curtain off the bracket and tie them together in the middle with something. A ribbon or shoelace, piece of frog tape?
At least that way only the curtains would fall on him and not the rail.

One landed on my head the other week it really hurt. I'd remove the curtains and pull it out.

Fall on who? I think I’d have to take that down as I’d feel so guilty if it fell and hurt someone.

Thanks. I hope it’ll be ok until the morning. To be honest the bed is a good metre from it and obviously raised so even if it did fall it would just land on the carpet surely. I think I’m worrying unnecessarily, it does need fixing but it’s probably been this way for weeks
