Is anyone else struggling with a virus at the moment? Starting to feel a bit down with it, get over one and then catch something else soon after. Is it just me?!

Colds and sore throats here. And being tired.

Yep, constant here too. As soon as one goes, another arrives.. currently on antibiotics for a lung infection. It's really getting me down too. Is this still a repercussion of lockdown / masks?

I have used the floradix range in and off. Currently trying the magnesium to help with poor sleep patterns. The iron and b vitamins one may be worth a try?

Another day, another roll of the symptoms dice.

Today's result:

Blocked nose
Headache
Tired
General feeling of being hungover but I don't drink alcohol.

And every time I go to the drs, they send me for a blood test and everything's fine, no further action.

Hope others are feeling a bit better today.

I'm wondering that too...

Also experiencing this: throat like razor blades, terrible fatigue, sickness, sore sinuses. Have had it since last Wednesday and it comes and goes. Really tired of it now. Not covid though, I did a test a few days ago.

Yep had all the above symptoms (thankfully only me, rest of the family seem to have escaped). DH popped out and got a covid test as I was so poorly, came back as a glaring positive so clearly covid is doing the rounds again!

Consoled myself with a Yum Yum from M&S food 🤣

Started with a sore throat and cold symptoms for a week….cough ramped up ….been diagnosed with whooping cough….3 weeks in feeling worse not better….I had whooping cough as a child, but immunity doesn’t last

Me, one thing after another!!! Started another ‘virus’ at weekend with really sore throat suspected tonsillitis at first but no white bits and tonsils didn’t look massive. Got worse and so much pain when swallowing then the mucus/phlegm started, face pain, earache and sore neck, still have all the above and today am so bunged up can’t breath through nose at all. Led on bed feeling sorry for myself just taking paracetamol and hoping it doesn’t last much longer.

Yep, started Friday spent all weekend in bed feeling like I was on deaths door and only emerged today. Still feeling horrendous and off work.

Properly floored me.

Hope everyone starts to feel better soon. It seems hard to stay healthy at the moment ….!

For those of you catching a few things one after another how are you keeping positive?

I've had this, into week 3 of feeling crap. Started with shivers, 40 temp, run down. Dry cough, sore throat.

Now very wet cough, the stuff I'm coughing up is clear but it keeps not coming out all the way and it tastes absolutely vile.

And now this morning had d+v, and threw up this black 1 inch lump. I've no idea what that was. No more episodes but have felt rough all day. Absolutely sick of being sick now 😞

There’s a lot of virus’s around here - most are testing positive for Covid.🙄

I just would like to have a few months on the trot feeling well!

How is everyone else balancing work? Had some days off and it just hasn’t helped.

I went back to work this week after 10 days of Covid! In my line of work I'm in close contact with people so didn't want to spread it and still tested positive after a week. Feeling lots better now, still coughing a bit. I really needed the time off anyway to rest and recover, felt like a real luxury compared to usual colds etc and having to go back right away.

It just seems hard to fully shift things at the moment.
