I love my baby’s little farts

Just sat here breastfeeding my DS (almost 1 year old) and he’s let off a few cute little farts and I just find it so funny and cute. I think I’m thinking he must feel relief when it happens so that makes me happy but also think he must be feeling nice and relaxed so it seems to me that we’re having a nice bonding moment.

Can anyone relate to this at all (YANBU) or have I lost the plot entirely (YABU)?

Absolutely agree. Always cute, always funny! I laugh every time. My toddler is now at the stage where he laughs too now 😁

I’m not a parent but babies farting is always funny and cute. Properly adorable.

Toddlers innocently farting is the funniest thing ever. When one of my nephews was really tiny, just about walking and before he could talk in full sentences, he farted and then cheerfully said “BEG PARSNIPS!” and I have honestly never loved him more.

He’s 23 now, I still love him but no longer find it cute when he farts.

Yup it's adorable. My toddler wakes up and stretches every morning and has a good root while he does it. On an adult that's normal but I'm not finding it cute lol

Ds is almost 1.5 and he's started to find his own farts hilarious because we normally have a giggle or react to them. That's even funnier.

My three year old farts in his sleep and my husband and I always have a giggle about it 😂

Farts are a great bonding experience, whether between parents and babies or between adults.

I'll see you and raise you - I love the way my baby gurns when he poos, and exclaims his relief.

Yes! Every morning I'd feed baby in bed while she'd toot away - sheer joy! I wonder at what age we need to tell them it's not socially acceptable?
