Surely 40 years will be enough

I started my periods at 11, I’m 51 one this year and I’m still getting regular monthly periods, surely I’ve done my innings now?

I started at 11 and finished at 53.

I started at 13, 55 this year and still going 😭although they are a bit more spaced out now.

I did read that if you have 40+ reproductive years, you are more likely to live longer, so am consoling myself with that! But I am so ready to be done with it now.

13.5 started. Started to go a bit wonky at 49
All over at 54 x

I started at 9, 44 now and I think I'm peri, but it just seems to have made me have a period every 2 weeks rather than monthly instead, so that's fun.

I'm so done with them, honestly.

11 to 52 and then a rogue period 2 years later. 1 pregnancy at 41.

Started at 12, last period at 53. Now in my 60s, had a terrible menopause and still have hot flushes ~ apparently 25% of women always have hot flushes.

I do wonder what if those men who insist they want to be/are women had any idea of what being a woman actually entailed, they’d be as keen. And don’t get me started on sexual harassment, misogyny, pay differential, DV, pregnancy …

The problem with reaching menopause before 50 is that it can be detrimental to one's health. I started at 14, last period at 44. Got cancer at 48, and due to chemotherapy coupled with early menopause, have to have infusions to help my bones and prevent osteoporosis.

What's just as frustrating is that I had a hellish perimenopause with every symptom going, many of which have returned due to chemo, and will get worse once I start ET. As I'm not able to take HRT, will have to put up with it. Would far rather still have my period tbh.
