To think my BF should go to the doctor? (Warning - pics included)

My bf has had these large red areas on his chest/back for around 4 months. He won’t go to the doctor, to be fair it’s not very easy for him to do that as he works 12 hour days. He finally went to the pharmacy last weekend and asked them what they thought it was, they said psoriasis and sold him some E45 itch relief cream and he also got some vitamin D tablets. But now it’s more irritated than ever and so I don’t think the cream is helping, it seems to be doing the opposite.

Is he going to have to take a day off work, or are there any medical types on here that could point us in the right direction?

One of the photos does look like ringworm. I had ringworm in my armpit which took a while to go away.

I think it was Daktacort that the doctor prescribed for it,

My husband has quite severe psoriasis and this is exactly what it looks like.
In the mean time, best things he used were dream cream from lush and the non scented childsfarm baby moisturiser.
I'd put money on this being psoriasis but still needs a dr appointment for some steroid cream

Exorex was a life changer for my husband . He has no confidence as the psoriasis was covering 70% of his body . You can buy a small bottle from Amazon. I did post a link earlier . We have passed this in to other psoriasis sufferers too with amazing results .

Not all round rashes are ringworm. It looks more like psoriasis or granuloma annulare to me. I hope he can speak to a doctor soon, it looks very sore.

Childs farm was no good for my dh and lush products made him worse.
