14.5 year old DS "watching" 9 year old DS for 15 mins in the morning then walking 9 year old DS to school. Village location, the school is 2 streets from home, no main roads. The journey is less than 5 mins walk.

The secondary school is on the same street, less than 2 mins walk. So eldest DS has to pass youngest DS's school on his way to school anyway.

Then collecting DS and watching him for 1 hour 3 days a week, and 15 mins 2 days a week when he has football club.

Is this too much for elder DS? Dad doesn't get home from work til then.

Elder DS is asking to earn money by babysitting the odd day during school holidays (I have said no). I said no because this would be 730-430 which imo is a long day, even though DS won't be up til 10am. So he's booked into holiday clubs instead.

AIBU - the school run is too much
YNBU - it's normal
