To not give this man a chance?

I was walking to the bus stop this evening and a lad in his 20s said hi to me as we passed. Not wanting to be rude I replied and carried on walking to the bus stop.

Then this lad who had previously been walking in completely the other direction came to the bus stop and strikes up conversation.

He was extremely good looking but was perving at passing girls as he was talking to me and said about a million times 'so what do you think about me?'. When my bus came he even got on it for about 4 stops so he could talk more with me.

He asked for my number but I told him I didn't know it. Still he gave me his and told me to call or text him anytime.

AIBU to want to never call this guy in a million years?

If he can't even manage to give you his full attention while he's flirting with you, I'd say the chances of a meaningful relationship would be pretty slim. But if he was cute enough for a meaningless relationship, that's different

Oh my lord, I'd be crapping my pants if a bloke followed me like that, it's not indeering, that's just freaky!

Agree with MuminScotland. Sorry, but I wouldn't trust him.

Servalan · 01/04/2008 21:32

"So what do you think about me"?....

Sounds both self-obsessed and creepy!

dingdong05 · 01/04/2008 21:33

I agree with muminscotland too.

If it happens again give him a fake number

mehdismummy · 01/04/2008 21:41

yuk i bet he is the type of guy who says either 'whats my name ' during sex or 'how was it for you' after

jezzemx · 01/04/2008 21:43

Nutter !!!!
Steer clear

madamez · 01/04/2008 21:44

He sounds a little bit wierd, actually. But he might just be socially inept, or younger than he looked - maybe even about 15 but tall? DOn't contact him, obviously - why would you want to bother? But if you live in a small enough town that you might run into him again, if he starts trying to chat you up or whines about why you didn't call, tell him your husband wouldn't like it, which should see him off all right.

I used to work with a dickhead like that. He would brag about making eyes at or chatting up every woman in sight as he said the more you ask out the more chance you have of someone saying yes.
He was such a pratt that if he drove past a garage and there was a female on the till, he would turn round, put £2 (I kid you not!! Mind you it was when petrol was 50p a litre) of petrol in his 'look at my teeny willy' bmw, just so he could go in the garage and chat them up! He used to brag that they were always impressed with his bmw We used to piss our sides every morning when he'd tell us the tale of the latest that he chatted up but funnily none of them rang him....

So don't ring him or his mates at work will all die laughing.
