My little boy is 3 and over the last month or so has started dribbling a lot and chewing his hands.

As far as I can see there are no teeth coming through, he appears to have them all now and he is not saying it's painful.

However, it is now starting to cause chapped lips/rashes round his chin and mouth which he is complaining about. The sides of his mouth where his lips meet are cracked now and look sore.

He doesn't use a dummy.

Anyone had this and is it reasonable to bother the GP?

About the cracked lips or the dribbling?
For the skin issue I’d speak to the pharmacist who can recommend something, I’d use bepanthen, it’s a brilliant barrier and super moisturising. My youngest is late teens and I still always keep a tube. It’s great for applying to sore noses that you constantly/blow when stuffed full of cold. Helps prevent that sore stinging & redness you get.
I’d maybe see a dentist if you are worried it’s a mouth issue though.

Has he been unwell? It can be a symptom of tonsillitis so I probably would see the GP.
