My grandson is coming home today, he's 6 weeks old and was born with a rare heart defect, blue lighted from our local hospital to Great Ormond Street Hospital at just hours old and had open heart surgery at 2 days old.
This has been without doubt the most agonising, scary and heartbreaking experience, my heart broke for his mum and dad when the doctors just kept saying that he's very very sick.
But he's done amazingly well and today he's coming home 💙
