Bought 2 items from an online shop.
1 toy for £20.
1 keyring for £5.
Postage was £4 but I couldn't find the £20 toy anywhere with free postage or locally.
Amazon had the £5 keyring with free prime delivery but I decided to get it from other retailer so the delivery is grouped together.
Just got an email saying £20 toy is OOS and being refunded.
So I've paid £4 postage on a £5 keyring that I could have gotten from amazon for £5 same day free delivery.
AIBU to say I want a refund of the postage or even the whole order cancelled as I'm not paying £4 for a keyring to be posted?
AIBU?
To ask for a refund of my postage?

Can you refuse delivery when it turns up?

But surely the £4 postage was for both items, so the keyring won't cost them as much to post out. Point that out to them and tell them to refund the difference. To be fair, there will be some postage costs as it's not their fault Amazon do it for free, but it won't be as much as for the toy AND the keyring.

A small parcel is a small parcel. Or an order under a certain amount/weight is the same price whether it’s a keyring or keyring plus toy. It won’t be any cheaper for the seller.
BUT, they should be cancelling and refunding as it is their issue with stock that has caused this. Keep on at them to have your postage returned.
