... a friend of mine in my fwend list has just left this group ("Parents against abuse of Mother and Baby parking spaces"):

Which is more effective, do you think, Facebook groups about this sort of thing or threads on Mumsnet about it? Genuine question, not taking the mick!

And you are an individual, it's important no one else is like you lol

Lol! I see that phrase loads and have been gagging to write that for ages but it has usually been inappropriate to do so. Thanks for humouring me Ding Dong!

Lol Jane I'm in the same group, absolutely pointless but fun nevertheless.

Facebook is great fun. I have hooked up with lots of old friends and now keep in touch with family members.

Even people we see regularly, it is nice to see what they write in their status messages.

I have a few games that I play too.

Perhaps AIBU was the wrong place to put this... not intending to slag Facebook off at all as my own list of groups is hardly politically inspiring and I do use it to keep in touch with people (vaguely) back in Blighty... just wondering whether we can actually achieve anything with Facebook, or whether we're all been a bit blinded by optimism!

So HSBC was forced to change because of a student group, any others?
