I could easily name change, no-one notices me anyway.
I quite fancy a change most of the time, mine is so much like my real name, but not exactly it. Sometimes I worry that the odd person might have found out who I am.
But thinking of a new name is so tiring......

I've namechanged recently but I don't suppose anyone even noticed .

One poster did pick up on a possible link between differently-named but related topic postings which I was quite impressed with. I didn't acknowledge her though cos I wanted to remain a bit more incognito.

But it is actually quite hard to notice, there are lots of regulars and erm, irregulars, new members, seasonal name changes, and "name changes for fun", and it seems people namechange quite often.

I picked up on Flight being FA, but did not quizz her on it.

I deregistered. Did not want to crawl to tech and beg for my old name back.... Now I have learnt to put yellow police tape around the "deregister button", at least I hope I have learnt. As this time I came back in Plural, next time, I dont know how to tweak the QS. Thing is, you loose ALL your posting variations once your dereg.... Not recommended.

I'm considering a name change... my name too much like my rl name, only problem is, I don't want to do it to become anon, want people to know who I was. How do I do that? I know I can announce it when I do it but poeple will forget or might not see the announcement?

you could do it in stages... ie: you could be NewNameUsedToBeDalrymps or DalrympsNewName, then after a while drop the Dalrymps bit.

Or you could just change your name, but after every post put in bracket (I used to be Dalrymps btw)

he he, I like the bracket idea although it might be a bit off a faff and poople might think i'm a bit strange lol. Only been on here since oct 07 so not sure many people recognise my name anyway , they might just say 'who's Dalrymps'...
