I know 40 isn’t old but has anyone else noticed a drop in energy levels at around 40? If so how did you get your energy levels up a bit?

I had on in late 30s thought it was age- but it turned out to vit D deficiency - vit D magnesium and zinc complex made a huge difference.

Get bloods done OP - could be iron or Vit D. Both make a massive difference! Also, stress reduction!

Mine turned out to be thyroid.

Currently having this but also had a few health issues starting with anaemia. Got to wait until I'm off some meds next month then will see if my GP thinks I'm peri...

Exercise and diet is key for me. If I don't exercise and eat crap I feel tired all the time. If I do exercise and eat well I feel much better. 43.

I'm 59... menopause was at 57, lost energy about 55... thought it was "old age" but turned out it was the body coping with the hormone change, all back to normal energy levels now, just with a few aches and pains and foggy head.

I was TATT at that age, had bloods done and have vitamin B deficiency. I now have injections every two months. It's always worth checking with your GP.

Peri Menopause here early 40s. Huge lethargy and everything felt like a massive effort.
