To want my neighbour to leave me alone

a bit upset .. I rent and let slip to my neighbour that my landlord was probably going to sell and now my neighbour is just waiting and waiting for my inevitable eviction to buy my house , she has recently sold her own and has a sweet deal, with her current landlord who allows her to,stay indefinitely. I feel like I tell people too much, too trusting and feel, like every time I see her she reminds me of my predicament. It’s stressful enough the thought of hubby and I being made homeless without her waiting in the wings with glee at my misery and her expected gain. She keeps finding sneaking ways of coming up to me to hint at when I might be leaving. Has anyone else had similar ?

So you're refusing to leave at the end of your tenancy and being forcibly evicted?

I think I would have to share the devastating news that an early survey had brought up such terrible results about subsidence , woodworm and dry rot that the prospective buyers had been refused a mortgage. “Cash buyers only Dora, I expect some developer will get it and rip the place to shreds , it will take months and months of work, so feel sorry for you and Graham having to put up with the disruption. Other news is there are apparently draft plans to turn turn it into a HMO, so you will get some interesting new neighbours.”

No, and nowhere did I say that

I dislike her on your behalf. It feels very disloyal of her to profit from your loss.

Thank you so much ☺️
