Ex peed on my fence!

I need a reality check because Im told I'm making a big fuss over nothing.

Split with a partner of 4 years. Yesterday he came in to drop my stuff I had left at his home and pick up his own from mine. Was meant to be here around 4pm. 4pm comes, I'm stuck at call with my manager at work (working from home). He is sending me a text to ask if I still love him, to which I reply that I'm in a meeting.

The call ends, 5 minutes later, I walk out of house to see if he is here and I see him peeing on my fence on a driveway, just behind my car!

I mean, really? He said he hasn't done anything inappropriate and I should be more understanding, he was bursting for a toilet and didn't want to interupt my call. But, jeasoo! I would have let him in if I knew he was there. He could drive 3 minutes to a nearest Tesco if he didn't want to interupt, or whatever! I can not imagine peeing on anybodys fence, yet I feel bad for saying wth are you doing? Confused

How bad it is in a scale 1-10 with 10 being the worst?

He should be in a kennel.

tara66 · 21/03/2024 16:07

Have large bucket of cold water to throw over him if he comes again. Was that in an urban area?

DaftFlerken · 21/03/2024 16:36

what did you expect him to do instead? poor bloke needed to pee

mathanxiety · 21/03/2024 16:37

He peed on your fence to punish you for not leaving your call and paying attention to him.

It was a big F* You on his part.

I hope you'll have nothing more to do with him.

You're not over reacting.

Seriously? Most adults can usually get themselves to the nearest toilet, unless he has a medical condition preventing that.

DaftFlerken · 21/03/2024 16:39

it's just a bit of pee ffs

mathanxiety · 21/03/2024 16:40

And YYY to 'territorial behaviour'.

This was him showing you his anger.

HungryBeagle · 21/03/2024 16:40

Fucking hell, I’m constantly reminded on here what low standards people have.

No doubt your home is a pee soaked midden, and you don't mind, because pee happens...

I’m assuming that poster often pees in places other than a toilet, as she’s so relaxed about it.

DaftFlerken · 21/03/2024 16:46

lol - there's a big difference between a one off desperate for a pee & a piss soaked midden. I guarantee your husbands & sons have all had a nature pee at some point in their adult lives

A one off pee is not something I'd be getting so prissy about

Sprinterlady · 21/03/2024 16:50

Well it's not the most respectful thing to do but he didn't whizz a few words on the fence like "u slag." There's a lot of degeneracy where I live (north). He said he was bursting so it's not that bad. I wouldn't class this as a malicious piss.

No it isn't. It's a statement from OP's ex that he still considers her and her property his territory and will do this to prove it and to wind her up.

QueenBitch666 · 21/03/2024 16:51

Territorial pissing. Dirty bastard

You do you. I’m happy with my standards.

KeyWorker · 21/03/2024 17:15

Grim. I’d report him to the police. One minute he’s saying he loves you, then he’s peeing on your fence marking his territory like a wild animal. Now you’ve exchanged belongings I suppose you don’t need to see him again but judging by the message he sent you I’d be prepared for an escalation of his behaviour.

DinnaeFashYersel · 21/03/2024 17:16

Honestly - I'd have reported it to the police (non-emergency)

Ilovemyshed · 21/03/2024 17:17

Gross. Hose it off and forget about it and him.

The police?!

Yep - use a bit of disinfectant in the water - hopefully there's no need for any further visits to your property. 🌹

Yes potentially. He’s clearly making a statement that he sees the OP and her property as his territory. He’s saying he loves her one minute the pissing on her fence the next. Or do you believe he was just so desperate for a wee he had no choice?
this could very much be the beginning of behaviour that continues to escalate.

LittleGreenDragons · 21/03/2024 17:49

Funny how you never see women dropping their knickers to piss in someone's garden. Or children. But supposedly grown men can't control themselves, or even think to visit the supermarket 3 minutes away, or even shock horror, go before he left home! 🙄

Be glad he's an ex. He did it deliberately because you left him waiting.

as if the police don’t have actual crimes to deal with.

BobbyBiscuits · 21/03/2024 17:59

It is grim and it could be classed as flashing if anyone saw. And onto a driveway? I'd at least think if he was desperate then a hidden hedge at worst. Or carry a pee bottle if your bladder is that tiny?
I once when I was a teen got caught peeing on my very posh friends front garden, the whole family pulled up in the Volvo, agog and speechless. I was mid flow. Horrendous. But it was before mobile phones and she was meant to be in and I'd been outside for half an hour! My house was an hour away...That's my excuse. That and I think I was drunk. They never wanted me round again strangely. Haha. Your ex wants similar treatment.

FictionalCharacter · 21/03/2024 18:02

Portu · 21/03/2024 14:29

"oh hello ex who won't take my call, I completely accidentally coincidentally got caught short while in your garden and had no option but to piss on your fence" 🤔

Aye.

Yep!
