How often do you wipe skirting boards/woodwork?

I probably average once a week for all rooms.

We have 3 dogs and although we live on a quiet cul de sac there is a busy road and farms behind us. Causes quite a dusty house.

I also wipe doors down (white gloss) weekly.

We bought our house as a do-er upper (bought thinking it was unliveable and had to be done immediately) but then life got in the way. The grubbiness was awful so now the house is fully redecorated I am a little OTT.

I feel like people do it less than me cause we’re inherently messy qbut not sure.

don't have skirting. i wipe doors when dirty

I don’t think I ever have. Our cleaner gives them a flick with a feather duster periodically, I imagine.

I run the Hoover along the skirting boards when I vacuum. Anything else just when I notice it’s visibly dirty and I can be bothered. I don’t really pay much attention to that sort of thing; it just doesn’t interest me.

Between a muddy garden, a dog and very high skirting with a few ridges, mine in busy areas (kitchen, hall, stairs) need doing weekly. The hoover gets rid of dust but they need a wipe for mud splatter and general grubbiness. It's something I always notice needs cleaning but I hate doing it.

Skirting boards only every 3-4 months. I do cobwebs check once a week because I really don't like them. I wipe over doors of insee sticky hand marks and otherwise about once a month.

I don't think I've ever in my life gone around the whole house wiping the skirting boards.

I'll hoover the dust off if it looks like it needs it and give certain areas a wipe if they're dirty.

But it's not really a regular part of the cleaning routine.

On the stairs about once a week, in rooms when I think about it & can be arsed.

At least once a day, dust, then wet cloth, then dry with polish. I’m not a slattern.
