to think that Playboy stationary for kids is perverse????

I walked into WH Smiths today to buy 5 yr old DD a new pencil case and next to the Hello Kitty and Forever Friends range was the Playboy range - according to the store manager aimed at 14 yr olds!

Normally a 'live and let live' type of person but I was totally incensed at this as my dd thought the bunny logo was cute! Is it me or is the sexualisation of kids getting earlier and earlier?? I think the association with the Playboy top shelf mags etc is blatant and completely inappropriate.

Its like the Woolies Lolita bed range that I read about in the press - completely mad!

I really think we ought to set up a consumer boycott of WHSmith. They are the pits

I have seen young girls aged around 6 wearing playboy tops, but these are fakes (probally a market job) As the playboy range of clothing are in womans sizes, and to be honest do these little girls probally dont even know what playboy actually is ( i bet if they were told they would be discusted and slightly embarresed)
Alough im a young mum (21 with 2 kids) I do believe that little girls should be little girls, with out the pressure of growing up too fast. And whats with the leli keli shoes (aimed a little girls) but come with make-up???

Dont agree with 6yr old wearing it, but older girls i wouldnt have a problem. My friends daughter likes the range and she is 13. I think thats ok.

I have have a Playboy necklace which a friend bought me and i wear it all the time. I think its pretty! i also hade a Playboy vest a couple or yrs ago which was very nice. I bought it cos i thought it was cute. Would wear again, but i am an adult!

The beaver stuff(havent seen) sounds yuck though!
