To ask what does your cleaner do?

As the title suggests, I am considering getting a cleaner. I work full time and have 3 children so the housework is getting on top of me. This may sound daft but I wondered what your cleaner does for you if you have one?

It would be good to know so that I would know what to expect when getting quotes etc. Also if you don’t mind adding, what does your cleaner charge roughly? I am in the North West if that makes a difference! Thank you!

3 our of 4 bedrooms hoovered , 2 bathrooms cleaned, 5 hard floors swept and cleaned, 2 large carpeted rooms hoovered plus stairs and landings. Surfaces wiped in kitchen and utility room. Evening left clean and tidy, cloths folded on taps, towels neat etc.
Don't know how she does it in 2 hours but it always looks great. We make sure house it floor-tidy iyswim including kids rooms before she comes.
£12 an hour.

I write a list for her but generally it’s change our bedding (king size), hoover upstairs and downstairs, swift mop kitchen floor. She generally always cleans the toilets x3, and wipes over the shower and occasionally the bath. She is lovely and would do anything I ask, occasionally she has helped do other jobs like cleaning windows/washing front door. She does 2 hours every fortnight, and charges £20 an hour, south west.

Whole house cleaned, changes 1 superking bed, full mop of all hard surfaces (all of the ground floor is hard floors). Then alternates with dusting etc. No idea how they do it in 2hrs, it’s like a whirlwind. £15 an hour, Z2 London.

You won’t regret it, I have one child and a husband (we both work full time), so being a single parent with three children I would say it’s a necessity!!!

12.50 per hour in the southwest.

She does all the surfaces, touch points, floors, windows/glass etc, bathrooms are cleaned. I tidy before she comes. She'll also empty my washer, dishwasher etc if it needs it and is generally just amazing.

She's here 3 hours a week, we have a 4bed 3bath.

If I wanted anything specific doing I could just ask that week.

I think knowing she is coming helps me stay tidy/organised as the floor etc needs to be clear for her to clean.

She's been with me for 4 years now, if be lost without her.

We have just got a new cleaning company. We have a two bedroomed flat.

The cleaners make the bed, I strip off the sheet, duvet cover etc before they arrive.

They dust every surface and clean the kitchen worksurfaces. They vacuum and then mop all the floors (all the floors are laminate or vinyl), they leave the place looked spotless. They empty all the rubbish bins arround the flat.
They supply their own vavuum, mops and bucket, cleaning sprays, bin liners etc
The old company charged a fixed rate and it was £55 which was expensive but they then said it was going up to £95.
Thwe new company charge £23 for the first hour, £18 an hour thereafter. They take two or three hours depending on how dirty the flat is. They come once every four weeks.
