Embarrassing queef problem

Name change because I am super embarrassed and I'm posting here for traffic.
Ever since I had my first DS 4 years ago I've had a problem with queefs! Doesn't happen during sex it only seems to happen randomly when I am at work of all places. Obviously with a fart you can hold it in but that's not really possible with a queef so it makes a noise, so far I've been lucky there hasn't been anyone near to me but is this it now? Do I spend the rest of my life at work afraid of being near anyone?
Has anyone else had this and how can I stop it! It's only a matter of time before someone hears and I will just die of embarrassment.😩
P.s I understand this is amusing and me and my husband also laugh about it when I tell him about it, but also I would like it to stop!

Have you recently had a new baby?

It could be things are just a little loose down there and need the muscles to tighten up again. Stick with the kegels. The nhs app is good.

Be careful how you move around. Do you bend a lot? Or kneel down in a squat position? The air has to be getting in there somehow and if it's in there it's going to come out whether you like it or now.

I had second baby just over a year ago, no issues until I went back to work after mat leave. It's so weird how it's just in the office. Must be how I'm moving/sitting somehow

Hoonicorn Never apologise by saying "pardon me". It draws attention to what has occurred and people are forced to acknowledge it. Much better to ignore the whole thing . I thought this was generally known.

DillDanding · 03/03/2024 18:50

I had to Google it. I might be odd but I don’t think I’ve ever fanny farted in my life. I’m sure it’s pretty unusual.

Think you need to see a doctor.

Queen lequeefa

Georgia O'Queef became a big noise in art with that kind of thing.

I would still speak to the GP just to be safe and sound.

Also have the same issue occasionally 13 months after 2nd baby. I just hope it will stop one day! But I tend to try and avoid standing up when people are there at work which is quite tricky sometimes!

At least I'm not alone. Is yours only really at work too?

Yes unless I’ve only noticed it then! I tried googling it but literally only came across it happening to people during sex. So I’ve got no idea. Given that my friend who actually has quite a serious postnatal issue is constantly fobbed off by the GP I just completely assume they wouldn’t care about such a thing as this and I would be dying of embarrassment for nothing 😂

Dogzombie · 03/03/2024 19:42

I have the same issue and only ever happens to me at work too! X

Do you also work in an office? I wonder if it is something to do with the office set up! So weird. We need a club

Related to this, have you ever farted on a seat and the fart has gone forward up into your vag? It happened to me the other day and felt so odd and unpleasant. Almost like a mild contraction. Sorry for lowering the tone!

Oh I hate the backfiring bubble farts they are the worst

Sausage77 · 03/03/2024 20:23

Solidarity OP - I have the same thing and it’s the reason I daren’t join a yoga class 😳 Luckily kegels and the passing of years means they no longer happen all that often! If it was a significant problem I’d definitely see the GP though

Ilovemyshed · 03/03/2024 20:27

See the GP or practice nurse for a quick check that nothing physical is amiss. Then I would try weighted balls to strengthen the pelvic floor.

ImBrian · 03/03/2024 20:33

It’s your pelvic floor. My yoga queefs were unbelievable after having kids 😂

ditalini · 03/03/2024 20:37

I had this post dc for a bit but it went away on its own. I'm fairly good at doing my kegels.

Top tip - NEVER try to do a sneaky fart sitting down, I'm pretty sure it all migrates up your vag and then mega queef on standing.

No but it only ever happens when I’m at a desk. Maybe it’s the position of the seat?!

Moier · 03/03/2024 20:57

Came here to say the same thing! OP don’t be embarrassed - a GP wouldn’t even bat an eyelid and will have forgotten all about you within the hour! There’s a chance you may have a fistula so I would get it checked…

SoftFluffySocks · 03/03/2024 21:53

If you talk to your GP about it...what do you call it?
