I love UO threads, so thought I'd get the ball rolling with another one.

'Britpop' was a lot of rot. The 'movement' was nothing like a movement, the bands really had nothing in common, as I think Jarvis Cocker has since opined. Tony Blair talking about 'Cool Britannia' was toe curlingly cringeable and the whole thing actually put me off some genuinely excellent music. I only started listening to Blur properly after the dust had settled and was surprised to realise I really like them.

Dark chocolate is overrated. I have tried so hard to like it but it is not to be, I love milk chocolate and milk alone. (I've given up chocolate for Lent and I would cut a bitch for a Crunchie right about now)

What are you talking about? I'm don't GAF about the Kennel Club, I am talking about what breeds I prefer!

Can you really not just look up the zillions of other "unpopular opinions" threads and maybe encourage everyone to post on them about how fat people need to be shot and poor people are scum and women who enjoy having their lashes and nails done are chavvy bitches.

Some people have severe autism which is miles more disabling (think non verbal, 24 hour care, personal needs) than little Jonnie who likes to talk a lot about trains.

The marches for Palestine need to stop. They're disruptive, aren't going to change anything and must be intimidating to Jewish people.

I totally agree about the Palestine marches, they actually make me quite angry. Nobody seems to care at all about anti-semitism, it is a disgrace.
