Nemoandthefishes · 24/03/2008 17:21

YANBU it is buggy and why is it leather?????????

McDreamy · 24/03/2008 17:22

Yes but look at the quality of the leather, worth every penny I'd say, I'll have 3

Ineedsomesleep · 24/03/2008 17:22

omg, who would pay that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

skeletonbones · 24/03/2008 17:25

hehe and i thought the leather trousers for a newborn baby I'd seen in a posh designer store once were the height of stupidity, Thats going to smell gorgious when it gets covered in milk/shite/unidentifiable chewed up fruit and biscuits lol

denbury · 24/03/2008 17:27

i want to be that person who can afford that!! they must of won the lottery!!!! i've got a £50 mothercare buggy and it's lasted 3 years(and still going) and has survived 2 moves and been on an airoplane!!!

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 24/03/2008 17:41

There are people out there with more money than sense!

fuzzywuzzy · 24/03/2008 17:42

In all seriousness, at that price I'd expect the accessories to come as standard not extra....

Unfitmother · 24/03/2008 17:43

It'd be nice in cream

suedonim · 24/03/2008 17:44

Not over-priced. McL produced a leather buggy a few years ago which was £1000 so the price is actually coming down.

I suppose what with everyone seemingly having leather suites nowadays a baby would think a leather buggy was a home-from-home, hehe.

LedodgyCheapEasterEggsAreASin · 24/03/2008 17:46

Urgh imagine the poor child wearing shorts in the summer their little legs would stick to the seat!

sorkycake · 24/03/2008 18:01

Not since I saw a white leather carrycot pram, has a pushchair looked soooo chavtastic.

alfiesbabe · 24/03/2008 18:16

I think it's a bit kinky actually. Are you sure it isnt an adult sized version for leather/infant fetishists??

merryberry · 24/03/2008 18:19

i'd buy one if i had any money left after paying 6k a month tax....

SillyReady2Pop · 24/03/2008 18:23

It's not the leather that's the cool bit....it's the carbon fibre chassis. Super strong and light too. You cannot bend or break it!!! I'll have one please! (but i'd swap the seat cover for a more pratical canvas one. Sorry but i'm a slight petrol head and love the properties of carbon fibre.

misdee · 24/03/2008 18:23

£2000 maclaren buggy

WanderingTrollegg · 24/03/2008 18:23

Good lord. Does it come with a free baby?

lol at one of the alternative buggies on the page costing £35

mumfor1standfinaltime · 24/03/2008 18:32

I do like Maclaren, but not at that price. I used a 22 year old Maclaren for ds and have since stored it in the loft!
Wonder if the 'luxury' ones featured here would last as long!
