To think that wearing Nike Dunk trainers

in black and white is terribly unimaginative and following the herd? I've never seen one item so prevalent in my whole life.

Everyone either wears the same pair of Adidas sambas or New Balance 327 here. 🤷‍♀️

Trainer fashion goes in cycles, who knew?! 😱

I don’t care if everyone wants to wear Dunks (although I hate the name), AF1’s, Adidas Sambas, New Balance 327s, Vejas, whether all of the above are overdone and passé or not. Who cares? It’s just footwear 🤷‍♀️

I prefer my Dunks to the Vejas that are ubiquitous here

I loved the high-end single colour Dunks that Nike Lab were doing about 6-7 years ago. I had a Tan pair that I still really miss. Dunk wasn't a ubiquitous style at the time then Nike deliberately started ramping up the hype with limited drops of the two-colour ones, and then you couldn't get the ones I liked anymore. And now the 🐼are everywhere. But we move on.

What is terribly unimaginative and prevalent are people who cannot understand there are millions of people in this world that are nothing like them, have their own likes and preferences and often times like things you don’t.

What is also terribly unimaginative and prevalent are marketing strategists that post negative views of their products on forums just to see how popular those products are.

There are loads if items of clothing that are prevalent. Like jeans.

I don’t think I’ve noticed! But as others have said, trends come and go - it’ll be something else soon. You don’t have to participate in any trend you don’t like.

Does that matter?

I associate dunks with my 11 year old nephew. but you also see hordes of 30-something women in Vejas, or 20-somethings in sambas.

It's just shoes.
