Not to read threads without paragraphs

I'm not being snobby, it doesn't bother me if someone doesn't use paragraphs. But I just can't take the information in!

I don't read as much as I used to these days, mostly listen to audiobooks when I'm walking or on my commute. Totally phone addicted too which I think has buggered my attention span.

But honestly, when I see screeds of text I just gloss over. Despite poor attention span I do still read very quickly. I've always skimmed any text to read it and paragraphing makes this much easier to do.

If I open a thread and it's one massive post I immediately stop reading. Does anyone else do this?

I don't either. I open them and close them immediately!

I do. I can't hold my focus if it's one long paragraph. I think if a long post is broken up you can skim read and get the gist more easily

Same, it's too much on the eye.

Yep, I've just done this with a thread now.

There have been thread titles that pique my interest but I can't get through them. The hundreds of replies suggest that plenty of people aren't bothered by it.

Nor ones that have chap in the second or 3rd paragraph

A solid wall of text is difficult to decipher, particularly when there is little or no punctuation as a demarcation.
