Are there any lipsticks that stay on?

I've never met a lipstick that stayed on my lips longer than 20 minutes. Maybe I've got weird lips. But the instant I take a drink or eat something it's gone. I pretty much never bother now.
Do you have a go to lipstick that has longevity? Are my lips weird?
Am I doing lipstick wrong?
I once tried a staining lipstick (or something like that, can't remember the name) and it just really dried my lips out and felt awful.
Sorry, AIBU for traffic, but I'd love to have one nice lipstick that stays on. (I tend to do berry / light burgundy not red, and I don't do glossy.)

A friend has the Pat Mgrath lipstick in red and it looks amazing. I haven’t tried it yet, it’s quite expensive but I may treat myself. I usually use MAC which lasts well.

Another vote for Lipcote. Apply over any lipstick and it helps it last.

I have several colours in this.

Put it on at 5pm last night. Forgot to take make up off before bed. Woke up with it still as strong colour wise as when I put it on.

It’s the Pat McGrath Liquilust: Legendary Wear Matte Lipstick. The colour Taylor Swift wears is Elson 4 and it has a really nice finish and feel. Apparently the trick is to go over it with some setting powder and that’s what makes it last so long.
