To ask where I can put 10k to make me a bit of money that pays out every month?

I have 10k and could really do with 50 pounds a month interest. Is this possible? I am not financially savvy and don’t know where to begin. I am a 40% tax payer and don’t know if that makes a difference either. TIA

Is there a limit you can put in for these 1 year accounts?

Mindymomo · 14/02/2024 08:47

@BLT2024 each organisation is different. I have one year bonds with Tesco bank, ISA’s you can only put in £20,000 per tax year.

Monzo premium do a similar 4.6% instant access.

Sure but that account costs £15 per month.

Barclays do a 1 year fixed ISA which pays out monthly and 4.60% at the moment. I'd fix the money for a year as rates are likely to go down over the next year.
