Basically she is 38 weeks and was admitted after routine MW appointment yesterday. They have told her that she has protein, leukocytes , ketones and blood in her urine and they have prescribed her Buscopan. The Doctor said that the pain she has is probably growing pains. The nurses keep offering her pain relief but she has been told that she can't take any and she was meant to go on the baby monitor yesterday and twice today but she has only been on once at 3pm today.
I totally understand that the NHS is in a bad way and the nurses and Dr's are all over stretched but I am worried if everything is ok.

Congratulations to your family,
And I just want to say, having a MIL like you is really special. Your DIL is very lucky to have you!

Hope you're enjoying the new addition to your family .

Please please kick up a fuss. In this situation the person who shouts loudest gets the care they need.

I took the polite route apologising to the MW every time I spoke to them and when I tried to inform them I wanted to push they didn’t listen. I ended up having my baby in the toilet she was born with the cord wrapped round her neck and it had snapped. When she was revived my baby ended up being sent to another hospital for treatment and I had to stay in the hospital I gave birth in.

If needed perhaps you go in and advocate for her she might not appreciate it today but she will in the long run.

sorry didn’t read the update. Thought this was happening now.
