she has a little beaker for water but still has milk from a Mam bottle? Someone said the other day that this was ‘crazy.’ Is it?! What should I be using?

I wouldn’t say a bottle at 14 months is crazy. I nannied for a 5 year old who would only drink milk from a bottle (when with her Mum) but happily took a cup from me.

That said, all kids and adults seem to be sucking on water bottles nonnstop these days.

A mix

Still used bottles for night time bottle before bed.

Sippy cups for daytime out & about or pottering around drinks.

open (tiny & plastic) cups for table/meal time drinks

The official advice is to stop using bottles at 12 months, so 14 months isn't "crazy"

First baby used a bottle at bedtime until about 18 months. Second baby stopped at 12 months because I was sick of washing them and she didn't seem to care
