.. I am JOKING but...

This happens at least weekly.

Why he can't use the last few sheets or put it in the frigging recycling I don't know.

Let's see how long this one sits on the side/window sill.... I think a week is the current record

I am starting to genuinely believe that my eyes alone are the only ones who can perceive such things in our house.

Just read this back and it's dreadfully worded but hopefully you get the gist 😂

H does most of the things previously mentioned. The one that annoys me most is leaving his shoes behind doors so that it doesn't open fully and it bounces back into you when you try to get through.

Urgh yes, we have this too 🤨

Don't replace it, and use your own roll that you carry to and from the bathroom and keep hidden. Plus PPs date idea.

Ahhhh - you need to pop it over his toothbrush. And do that again and again- the penny will drop eventually.

At the moment I'm waiting for him to put the Christmas decorations back in the loft. I've usually taken them back upstairs and placed them under the loft hatch by now but I'm not bothering this year. They are evenly spaced out between rooms where they were packed away.

We've had various visitors and this advance information has not persuaded him to move them out of the way. The grandchildren are climbing/playing on/jumping off them.

His previous record for putting them away was September - even though he had been into the loft to bring suitcases down.

I have dusted the boxes and hoovered around them. The robot vacuum cleaner is utterly confused that they are in the way and huffily returns to base when coming into first contact with one. (It has a programmed route.)

There are bets being placed on when they finally get put away. I think, because I haven't carried them upstairs for him, that they will remain where they are until December.

I asked mine to take ours down and put them away. He has so far managed the first part, but then just dropped them on the floor and they have been there for nearly a week now. 🙄

@WingsofRain

I vividly remember them going away in April one year and I thought myself lucky but they were upstairs, in the spare bedroom - so out of sight.

They are really in the way this year and we're both just walking around them.

I can't remind him - because that would be nagging.

LTB. But seriously I got sick of my partners sweet wrappers & crisp packets, toilet tubes, heaps of clothes and god knows what littering up the house. I collected it all up and dumped it in his immaculate car & was confronted with a diatribe which I went into one over as to why he left shit lying about the home but his car was scared? I kept up with this regime & it eventually paid off. Men are like dogs & need training.

Well said. There has to be some inconvenience to them before they get the message.

Not aiming in toilet? Crime, so I chalk around the crime like those police drama scenes. Not putting things away after use ( toilet roll tubes, cups .....so many to list) I make modern art on DH desk .......
Just a glimpse of my tenacity
