To want shade at the Olympics

So we have various tickets for the Paris Olympics this summer but I am really scared of being trapped in places with no shade, especially with kids. I get sunstroke very easily.

Does anyone know what kind of provision there will be?

For example, we have tickets for Roland garros but from what I can see most of the seats will be in the sun for much of the day.

Thanks for any info!

That's a very sensible suggestion 😅 I will try.

lol to the Roland and the "shade" comments

I can't see parasols being allowed it would bd chaos if everyone had a parasol! No one would be able to see and it would be dangerous.

Hats sure but that's aren't enough for me. I'll try to get in touch to ask but I'm thinking I may need to sell my daytime tickets

Not sure if any one has suggested this already but you can get headbands with crystals that hold water. As the water evaporates it keeps you cool. You could wear one under your hat. Bottle of water to top it up. Also if you freeze small bottles of water, as they melt you get nice cold water. I used a frozen hot water bottle at work during the last heatwave.

Thank you to all the helpful replies and kindly naff off to all the snipers! My husband booked them without telling me/thinking about these things...

Wow! That's a big purchase without discussion.
When we applied for Birmingham tickets we planned it like a polar expedition.
