Dropped ds off at nursery this morning, usually i drop him off then come back home to get ready for work as it's impossible to have a shower without him trying to climb in and getting soaked and cold!! so i usually throw on whatever clothes i can find to do the nursery run in.

This morning i was wearing a tatty pair of jeans, one of dh's very baggy jumpers, a pair of crocs and had bed-hair. I also had ds' nursery bag (Sean the Sheep) on my bag while i was putting him into his car seat. A middle-aged couple over the road started to point and laugh at me and i heard her say, "How can she leave the house like that in the morning?" Obviously I died inside.

But as I drove off i saw them further down the road and they just happened to be by a massive puddle. I purposefully accidentally drove into it and splashed them both.

Was i being unreasonable when i cackled like a loon all the way to nursery and will i be unreasonable when i chuckle all day at the memory of her face in the rear view??

Oh, you're my new hero! I'd have sooo wanted to do it, but would've chickened out at the last minute.
