To expect DH to not play video games this morning?

He was up with the kids doing presents with us all but now has gone to play video games with random people on the Internet, probably be gone for an hour or so.

Am I unreasonable to this really annoying?

If he was there with you and the kids first thing and is only playing for an hour then, yes, YABU. It’s fine for people to need an hour to themselves on Christmas Day!

They've got me into Fortnite and turns out it's great fun! 😂 I'm pretty good at it too.

DH got a big Lego set so he'll be busy with that I imagine so I can be a top quality mother and help my DC shoot at strangers on Christmas Day.

Why though? No honestly, why should the whole day be family time? Sometimes people just want to do their own thing for a while, what is wrong with that? I hate this 'family time' nonsense. You don't have to be glued at the hip for the entire day.

Nothing wrong with a game or two, reading, watching tv etc. People are so uptight about bloody family time. Is it the same if the children are off playing a game or is it only adults that shouldn't do this? Bloody hell.

This is my life..! I could be dying and he'd still play! It doesn't annoy me too much if I'm chilling too- I only get really annoyed when I'm running around like a headless chicken and he's playing. Enjoy the peace 😂
