The dog has just been sick. DH will
not sleep tonight now worrying! Funny though, he’s never lain awake worrying when either if our DS’s have been ill. 🙄

That would really put me off him.

Screwballs · 21/12/2023 23:07

Poor pup! Maybe because your kids can communicate their ills and the dog can't so it's incredibly hard to know whether you should be very concerned and rushing to the vet or not?!

What a spiteful post. How's marriage working out for you?!

Tbf to op, yours is quite the spiteful post too

TeaKitten · 21/12/2023 23:09

So what if he doesn’t sleep for worrying, you can still sleep? Is the dog ok?

steff13 · 21/12/2023 23:12

I would probably be able to sleep but animals feel more delicate than people. Children can communicate if they're not feeling well. Regardless, if he wants to stay up all night, let him stay up all night.

My marriage is fantastic thanks for asking. Just celebrated 25 years. 😀
I just think he’s a bit OTT with the dog. He gets ribbed for it daily and not just by me.

The dogs fine thanks. DH is just a bit OTT when it comes to his baby. The dogs asleep on my feet at the moment. 😁

Oh I don’t mind him staying up all night. He’ll just be a miserable sod tomorrow. 😂

He’s alright really. I’ve put up with him for 25 years. He just babies the dog in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong I love the dog too but…. 😀

There's really no need for him to stay awake, there's nothing that wakes you up quicker from a deep sleep than the sound of a dog heaving in the corner of the bedroom!

I’m glad this thread is a little more lighthearted than it seemed in your OP. Hopefully you and the dog sleep well even if DP doesn’t 😅

The dogs snoring and I’m staying awake far too late for someone who has work tomorrow but it’s only half a day so I should be ok. DH on the other hand will be a right moody shite!!
