My niece is very lovely, but very dull. And with VERY different taste to mine. She has no hobbies, doesn't cook or garden, isn't interested in hair, beauty or smelly stuff, doesn't read or do puzzles... I just CANNOT think of anything to get her.
Now it's an emergency situation, and whatever I get will have to come from the dreaded Amazon.
Budget <£40
Please help!!

Maybe a travel mug could work. Any recommendations for particularly good ones?!
@CrapBucket I think I am definitely a bit easier to buy for!

I really like our Chilly’s one https://amzn.to/48gWRTe

Afternoon tea hamper

DelightfulDoris · 19/12/2023 18:49

What about a really nice flask with a selection of sachets of hot chocolate, coffee etc? Obviously dairy free ones. Could get gloves too. Then it’s a kind of winter ‘keep warm’ present.

I won’t suggest any in particular as I have no idea about postage dates etc.

peebles32 · 19/12/2023 18:50

How about a massage voucher?

DelightfulDoris · 19/12/2023 18:50

£40 is a lot of money to spend on someone who you have no idea what to get! You have my sympathies

Deliveroo or Just Eat voucher... everyone loves a free takeaway!

Michellebops · 19/12/2023 18:52

Just eat voucher?

afromom · 19/12/2023 18:55

How about a teapot diffuser with a range of loose leaf teas?

CrapBucket · 19/12/2023 19:01

I have a Bodum travel mug, had it years and it’s excellent

PieAndLattes · 19/12/2023 19:03

Does she drink coffee? This is a little over budget but it’s the cutest little Le Crueset French press. There are also water bottles/lovely cups/etc.

I found this at John Lewis & Partners. What do you think?

I have a variety of travel mugs and the best one, that never leaks however carelessly it is tossed in my bag, is Contigo.

Emsa cups on Amazon. They are truly amazing. Leak proof and keep drinks hot for 8 hours.

Thank you for all the ideas everyone! Gift is purchased, but I'm going to be really really annoying and not tell you which one - because I am terrified that she uses mumsnet and will work out that I called her boring!!!

Deliveroo or Uber eats voucher so she doesn't have to cook a couple of times (depending on which delivery service is in her area).

Bouledeneige · 21/12/2023 10:15

Fingerless gloves/wrist warmers, a scarf? A couple of best seller books? Or a nice toiletries gift set?
