To think this Christmas pud will be ok?

Bought it last year with a BB date of Feb 2023.

What do we reckon? Will I open it to reveal a shrivelled old mess and ruin Christmas or will it be ok?

It’ll be absolutely fine. I’ve eaten Christmas puddings a couple of years past their best before date and noticed no difference. They are all matured for x amount of time anyway so you’ve just matured it a bit extra! As for dryness… if it seems dry just you haven’t put enough custard Xmas Grin

I am still eating jam I made in 2012. So 11 years old this October.

Just give it a sniff. If it smells ok it is likely to be ok.

Good for you! Packed with sugar. Wonderful preservative.

Great stuff! I got it in the sale for about 25p so that's a massive win! 🤩
