Combined Bathroom/WC, No Space for Wash Hand Basin???

Hey,

what does the above mean? Does it mean the toilet and bath are in the same room and there’s no space for a sink to wash your hands? I’m really confused. Has anyone come across this before?

thanks 😤

I lived in a house where the loo was in its own in one room and the adjoining room was huge with a bath and sink in. There was plenty of room for a loo as well, but it was fairly common in the uk to have the loo in a separate room.
Infact, thinking about it, I’ve been in loads of houses where the loo is separate with no sink in the room.

@Helenahandkart ive been to plenty of houses with this layout too. However this property mentions them being joint and no hand basin. Leads me to believe that there’s only space enough for a bath and toilet.

We had this growing up in our semi in Manchester and have just come back from a weekend staying in an apartment there with the same, except that the toilet and bathroom were separated by a bedroom.

If this is the main bathroom, consider how soneone would brush their teeth, shave, flannel wash a face. All the things sinks are used for thercthan washing hands after using the loo. Those cistern top sinks are tiny, and would have restricted access due to the toilet pan.

Is this a holiday let? Somewhere you are considering buying?? The reason for wanting to know would affect how bothered I was.
