If I killed DH?

He has been bellowing in teams meetings all morning then as soon as he stopped blew his nose so loudly he woke the baby up

ffs. I just needed to vent. I will not actually be killing him but seriously

Why would being forced out of my own home to tramp the streets in December annoy me? Are you ‘aving a laugh?

He does have a separate area which he doesn’t go to. So doubly annoying!

Shame DHs cannot go into hibernation mode, along with the hedgehogs this time of year. I don't have a husband but could quite cheerfully stick next doors under the shed for a few months and have a nice bit of peace from his constant bellowing.

Why are they so loud? 😩😩

Why are they so loud? 😩😩

They think volume equals knowledge, efficiency and professionalism. Look at me! Look at me! Look at me! 🌹

@Letsnotargue Perhaps when he is in the middle of a very important zoom meeting at home you might find the need to practice blowing your vuvuzuela in case you are ever plagued by crows.

Nonplusultra · 08/12/2023 16:45

@Fraaahnces I was thinking the same. Clearly a vuvuzuela is the answer and @Spareincoming might be able to sell you one cheaply.

pickledandpuzzled · 08/12/2023 16:50

Walk up and down outside his study monotonously droning twinkle twinkle…

I was about to complain about mine having man flu and shuffling about in an Oodie sighing dramatically, but I think @Spareincoming wins the prize for most ridiculous OH.

Well, we've had the Dressing Gown of Doom, so is this the Oodie of 'Orror?

Waitingfordoggo · 11/12/2023 16:50

It absolutely is @sueelleker!

piscofrisco · 11/12/2023 16:58

My dh is very Loud on his teams calls and will often wander around the house on them which is even more annoying. I also wfh but I'm actually going back to work in person after Christmas as otherwise we will end up divorced!

People who share their homes with noisy, interrupting people need to put locks on doors and buy earplugs. I'm not sure what to do about babies being woken up though....surely fathers understand that they have babies in the house? Trying to think of a solution....A baby monitor in DH's office turned up to maximum sound, or attached to an amplifier of some kind? - Every time he wakes the baby, he'll have to deal with the fallout; you could even have a tape recorded baby noise to bellow in his face even once real baby is settled.

Edit: Locks that work on either side of the door...Those who walk around on the phone disturbing everyone else need to be locked in their office. I'm not joking about that part. This is unbelievably inconsiderate.
