Flying with newly potty trained child

Morning all, we are flying to Mexico next week to spend Christmas over there. DD has been potty trained just over 3 months now and is fine the majority of the time but still does have the odd accident when she can't get to a toilet quick enough or if she gets too distracted doing something. Off the top of my head the flight time is around 10hrs, I think she should have her night nappy on just in case of and accident as I would hate for someone else to sit in a wet seat. DH thinks it's not necessary and she will be fine. AIBU?

Night nappy for me. Less stressful for you all. Often have to queue for toilet on plane so more chance she won't be able to wait.

Not wetting the seat it is one issus also uncomfortable and possibly embarrassing for child to have to queue wet to get changed and very difficult to change in tiny cubical. And on a 10 hour flight i would be hoping she sleeps at least some of it and won't wake up to pee.

*forgot to mention she’s not dry at night

There are so many situations you won’t be able to go to the toilet - queuing for security, passport control, check in, boarding, seatbelt signs on… other times you will need to queue to get to the toilet…
i would definitely take a nappy. Plus, it would be very out of order to leave a wet seat…

Totally agree! Would hate to leave a wet seat and know someobody has to sit in that, especially when it can all be prevented.
