To shout "get some lights!" to stupid teenagers on dark bikes/clothes and no reflectors

Tonight, when getting back from visiting friends, some mindless morron cyclists (2 of them) decided to cut right accross me coming from my right and then carried on up the road.
They had no relectors, lights and were basically just shadows.. no streetlights either, so i just wound down the window and shouted get some lights and they just said "get some glasses!"
Bloody cheek, they were lucky i did not hit them, i mean my fist not with the car
My Nan used to say that people who rode around at night in dark clothes and no lights were thieves and robbers as they did not want to be seen.

All cyclists should have lights and reflective gear.

Helmets will only help if you go over the handlebars at low speed. They can cause more injury in sliding crashes by snagging the tarmac and causing twist and torsion injuries in the neck.

Wearing a helmet can also encourage drivers to pass more closely, as the Uni of Bristol 2006 study shows.

I've been hit by stupid, negligent drivers 4 times. In not one incident did my head, or my helmet, hit the ground, despite being hospitalised for two of the collisions.

And there's a very good reason why drivers should have more responsibility for safety on the roads. A cyclist makes a mistake and hurts themself. A driver makes a mistake and can kill someone - because you're DRIVING A TON OF STEEL!

It's not cyclists killing 2,500 people and injuring 20,000 more on the roads every year.
