Selling on Vinted for well over priced paid

Just browsing on Vinted and notice people take the absolute mickey when selling items on there which are sold out in shops...

Some people clearly buy in bulk just to sell on Vinted (for triple the original price) when they realise that items are limited edition etc. I don't believe them when they say 'bought for me - doesn't quite fit...' well why did you buy 4 in the same colour then Shock?

I know people will pay if they want but these items seem to sit there because people aren't stupid.

It's pure selfishness and greed

@threebean are you the oddball who messaged me on Vinted calling me a ‘scrounging melt’ on Vinted for selling a wooden cuthbert!

(fyi if this is you it’s ‘you’re’)

Ive got to admit I was surprised by the vitriol tbh. I bought one then saw what they were selling for so listed it. If anyone wants it fair enough, if not I’ll include it in my child’s birthday presents as planned.

Wait, why were you all over FB?

I honestly have no idea! It was a really odd message!

@EyeInTheSky23 It’s not the child who is buying these things. There were lots available in the shops when they first came out. I get that it sounds bad but honestly, if you’re a bit organised it’s very, very easy money.

Shops increase the price of limited edition toys. But when an individual does it it’s different?

Is never consider doing it for anything that’s a non essential. People did this for baby milk etc when there were shortages. Would never ever consider anything like that.

The Christmas toy? Wouldn’t think anything bad if someone did that. People have their reasons. I’m nowhere near needing to do that sort of thing now, but when I was in a very tough place it was so helpful.
