8 it’s been a pretty good year for me.

2, and only because of my wonderful husband and supportive siblings, plus a good developing friendship with an ex colleague.
Huge bust up with my daughter in May - she still won't talk to me. Also diagnosed with breast cancer in May - and horrible problems with the cancer treatment since then.
Without the cancer and the daughter issues it would have been a 10!

4, at best. Better than last year though.

DH diagnosed with cancer. Then hospitalized for 4 nights with a totally random infection (not related to his cancer).

Now I’ve had a suspicious mammogram. Follow up is in 4 weeks.

The only reason it’s a 5 is DD got married and it was a truly spectacular celebration. Almost makes up for all the bad stuff.

3.6 Roentgen. Not great, not terrible.

I got diagnosed with cancer, so it's not getting a high score out of ten.

2.5! Some small positives to an absolute s*#t show of a Year!

Zero.

Around 7. Would have been 8 without the stress of my elderly PILs and their health crises.

After a couple of 2 and 3 years an 8 for me! I hope for everyone who has had a bad year that 2024 is better!

1. We lost my father quite suddenly in the summer.

Some of these scores and stories bring things into perspective.

I was going to score low as we've had job and money worries but it has made me realise that the people who are important to me are still here and healthy so it's a good solid 7, maybe a 7.5.

Hope 2024 is better for those struggling.

1. Overall quiet year for is. Grateful for mine and my families health.
