Universal credits

Me and my partner currently live together, not claiming universal ceedis or anything - 3 kids in our house
We both work full time
I have severe stress/memory loss and tiredness probably mostly due to my epilepsy and medication.
I don't think I can work any longer as I'm falling apart in many ways.

We don't claim universal credits... but I'm about to quit my job but will I be able to claim? As I have read up and seen things about sanctions this and that

Would I need to go and get a note from the doctors?
This is all new to me
