He lives in a country where the majority of the population is white, but says it has mental health problems from a workplace which is mainly, yes, white. However does he deal with everyday life?

'It's really affecting me that I walk in and all I see is white people,' the Radio 5 presenter told a diversity conference

MN is just one big racist jamboree these days, isn't it? While the mods ignore it all.

Companies gagging to employ brown and black people, my brown arse! The data doesn't support that conclusion.

HomiesAlone · 03/12/2023 18:40

To be fair @CharlotteRumpling MN removed the 2 Islamophobic posts I reported on this thread. Racism is rife once you open your eyes sadly.

The nonsense about black and brown people taking jobs is miseducation, willful ignorance, racism and fear all muddled up together with a big old dollop of arrogance.

CharlotteRumpling · 03/12/2023 18:52

I just can't be bothered to report lately because there have been so many racist posts on every thread.

Really? In what way is he racist towards white people?

I understand where he’s coming from. POC are underrepresented across editorial roles in the media.

Reverse the qoute
"It really affects me that I walk in and all I see is black people"

You don't see a problem with that?

AdamRyan · 03/12/2023 20:20

Don't be ridiculous molly
This is a predominantly white country, white people have never been oppressed by black people, it makes absolutely no sense to "reverse the quote".

I did however link upthread to an article about male teachers, where they were saying similar things about being in a minority but noone commented

@missmollygreen " Reverse the qoute
"It really affects me that I walk in and all I see is black people"

You don't see a problem with that?"

If the person saying it was white in a majority black country with a history of discrimination against white people, then no, I wouldn't see a problem.
