Were talking late 90’s/early 2000’s

Think the brand was cadburys, they were purple foil wrapped things with like stars on? I say stars it looked more like a 4 point star on it. Cant remember whether they were for Christmas or Easter!

Desperate to see a pic of them, mostly to actually prove they existed!

Anyone know what I’m on about?

They were definitely about in 2002, I remember being given some by my teacher that year. Looked exactly like your diagram, something tells me they were marketed as being a bit more of a luxury product?

Conniethecatapillar · 26/11/2023 22:30

I've no idea. Your drawing looks more like an egg! I admire your commitment to the cause though 😂

That’s part of my confusion! They were eggs I think!

They were definitely only about for a short time in the year, almost like a limited edition

Panicking23 · 26/11/2023 22:34

Yes. I remembered them as being more like a truffle than bubbly but could be wrong there.

These?

I don't think they said cadbury on them, I think that's just a design of the Easter egg hunt pack one year and it's not those.

Were they not just tree baubles ?

Lovesacake · 26/11/2023 22:39

How can it be identical but not that?

FrostieBoabby · 26/11/2023 22:39

Lemons1571 · 26/11/2023 22:40

Are you sure not 90s puds?

BlueEyedPeanut · 27/11/2023 01:23

If they were eggs then they were probably an Easter limited edition thing. Christmas is usually baubles, puds, or snowmen-type things.

MalibuBetty · 27/11/2023 02:14

Ah I did the annoying thing of not reading the full thread and was going to say Milky Way Magic Stars but your diagram looks like one of the limited edition Cadbury Christmas chocolates, Jingle balls or little robins are the last few years offerings but this was way earlier than them. I definitely remember them and the filling you describe

Redwineislife · 27/11/2023 07:35

Argh at first I felt all smug because I had no idea what you were talking about, but now I absolutely remember them and have googled every combination of things to no avail 😩

SwishSwishBisch · 27/11/2023 08:04

Maybe email this thread to Cadburys, or tag them on Twitter.

jelly79 · 27/11/2023 20:35

Argh following closely hoping for success!

katsusando · 01/12/2023 19:34

You're thinking of Cadbury's wishing eggs. Sold Dairy Milk chocolate. Used to love them! Now, they're called something else, and sold in packs of 8, I think. Plain purple foil. While the shell is still Dairy Milk, it's all of a hair thick. The shell is filled with the sickly terrible chocolate that now fills Cadbury's mini eggs.
