Under eye filler

Posting here for traffic sorry. I’m scared. I had eye filler for the first time 12 days ago. For five days they felt fine then they started to feel very heavy and I can feel the filler in them all the time, it’s a very strange sensation. More worryingly when I look to the side on one eye my muscle/nerve seems to catch on something which feels painful. Is this normal recovery? I did go back but the doctor said to leave it another week.

I had tear trough filler a few years ago. Had a lower bleph since that's the only reason I haven't kept it up.
I didn't get what you did but I was very swollen for quite a long time! It also felt very tight. I couldn't do yoga which I love because I couldn't have my head lower than my heart without the blood rushing to the filler and throbbing for about a month.
I'd say give it more time. I could always feel mine when I pressed it with a finger. Do you know what type they used? The one specifically for under eyes is much softer than the type they use in cheeks etc. And so it tends to be more comfortable and dissolve a bit faster than the other types. You might find it goes down quite a lot very quickly. It usually lasts 9 months but less on some people. If you exercise a lot it will go even more quickly, took 4 months on mine but I run a lot etc.

Don't get the injection to dissolve the filler unless you absolutely must. It's very bad for your skin and because the injections dissolves hydraluronic acid which the filler is made of but also naturally occurs in the body. So it can disrupt your natural skin as well.
Hope this helps

Under eye filler is very unstable. I've had to stop getting mine done, I'm 55. The fat pads along the eye socket change and it stops being recommended. You shouldn't feel pain. Aching or heaviness can be normal. It sounds as though it could be moving and that Isn't always good, which is why I've stopped. I could have had it done, but then it could have needed dissolving within hours. I don't agree with not getting the dissolver if it's travelled. It's solvable, whatever is happening. So get some sleep tonight. If the pain continues, phone who did it and pain score to them. That's if they are reputable. If not get an opinion elsewhere.
