According to research on average, women do 2/3 of all housework..

In this TV show the partner/person who does the most housework goes on strike

Women need to stop doing the majority of the housework and talk to their partners and divide the housework.

i know I'm crazy for every suggesting speaking to their partner - but someone might listen.

The women asked for help consistently.. they were ignored

Well, anecdotal as it may be, I do less housework (and have a cleaner house) since I split with exdp. I also work longer hours than him (he does 40 hours a week I do 50)

It's far easier on my own than doing it all plus picking up his slack

Think you’re more crazy for assuming they didn’t speak to their partner.

I don’t watch TV but don’t understand this. The person who does the housework is usually the one who notices/cares. Surely that person would just end up getting stressed about it.
is the idea that the other person will suddenly realise and do it all?

I suppose I did my own version of this by leaving my DH 😁. NOW he knows what I did.
