..to think that if you tell your small child that next door is the 'mental house' then you're probably not a good person

For clarity 'next door' is not a hospital facility specialising in disorders of the mind but a holiday cottage.

Overheard today when walking past a pair of holiday homes. Woman screaming at her child she couldn't go in the other houses garden because it was a 'mental house'. Not because it was private property.

Screaming woman clearly worships at the altar of the footballers wife. Did I judge? Hell yeah. WIBU?

You sound completely bonkers to be honest.

Perhaps I should rent The mental house.

So you live in ‘the mental house’?

Oh no, actually I read that wrong. Maybe I should rent it?

@SausagePastaForTea I think you are remarkably good humoured, loved the comeback about maybe you should live in the mental house 🙂

I'm assuming the reference to footballers' wives means that she likes bling/ lots of makeup/ expensive cars/ drama? In other words, she's working class but very wealthy? It's quite snide tbqh.
